PRIVACY STATEMENT

The following discloses Hotline's information gathering and dissemination practices.

1- Registration Information.

The registration form for the Hotline Service requires certain contact information (like a User email address, address and zip code) and demographic information (like a User's gender, age, and occupation) ("Registration Information"). Hotline provides Registration Information to the party with which Hotline has partnered to provide the Hotline Service.

Registration information is also used by Hotline as follows:

a) Custom Web Experience, Advertising and Promotions. Hotline's Service is advertising supported. Hotline uses Registration Information to tailor the web experience and advertising to the interests of individual Users, and to send Users promotional information from Hotline sponsors when requested by individual Users. Hotline provides Registration Information to certain companies for analysis, modeling and comparison to enable Hotline to display advertisements which are available and suitable for individual Users; for fulfilling promotions requested by Users; and for displaying advertisements not served directly by Hotline. All such companies are required to sign confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements prohibiting them from contacting Users directly; using Users Registration Information in any way other than specified by Hotline; and from disclosing User Registration Information to any party other than Hotline-approved parties providing other services to Hotline, which parties are also required to sign confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements.

b) Hotline Communication. Hotline uses Registration Information to contact Users if necessary regarding User accounts or other User service issues; to send Users Hotline newsletters containing information on Hotline developments, new features, and member benefits. Users may unsubscribe of receiving Hotline newsletters and other promotions.

c) Third-Party Promotions. Hotline provides Registration Information to third parties to enable them to send Users promotions when requested by Users. Hotline has no control over, and is not responsible for, the use of Registration Information provided to such third parties. Users are advised to refer to the privacy policies of the applicable third parties. Users may unsubscribe of third-party promotional programs which they have previously authorized as detailed below.

2 - Children under 18

Children under 18 ("Child" or "Children") may sign up for the Hotline Service only with the consent of their parent or guardian.

3 - Contents of User Email Communications

Hotline will not monitor the contents of User email communications unless:

  1. required to do so by law; or
  2. in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to protect and defend Hotline's rights or property; or
  3. when necessary to protect the personal safety of Users or the public. Hotline will not disclose the contents of User email communications to any party unless required to do so by law. User email accounts are password protected and Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the passwords.

4 - Cookies

A "cookie" is a file transferred from Hotline's web site to the hard drive of User's computer. Hotline uses cookies to save Users passwords so Users do not have to re-enter them each time they log- on to access their email, to personalize the Hotline Service, and to show Users banner advertisements. For Users who share their computers, it is recommend that such Users logout after each email session and close their browsers.

5 - Unsubscribing.

Unsubscribe to Newsletters. Users can unsubscribe to the Hotline newsletters by sending a request to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it . To unsubscribe to the different services, users should contact those individual services help lines.

6 - Accessing and Modifying MAIL User Registration Information.

Users can request and/or make changes to all their User Registration Information online by clicking the "Options" section of the Hotline webmail client.

7 - Deactivation and Removal of User Registration Information.
